Robin Hood’s Bay Museum

Information for Visitors


Location & Access: The museum is situated on Fisherhead on the south side of the village.

The building can only be approached via narrow cobbled pathways and steps.

Sorry, no dogs except assistance dogs..


Following extensive building repairs during the Winter of 2023/24 we have taken the opportunity to freshen up many of our displays.


2025 PLANNED OPENING (All 12 - 4):

February 15th - 23rd (Half Term)

March and October: Saturdays and Sundays

plus every day October 25 - Nov 2nd (½ Term)

April/May/June/Sept: Fridays, Sats and Sundays,

plus every day April  18th - 27th (Easter Week).

plus daily 24th May - 1st June (Spring Bank).

July / August: Every day.

December 6th - 7th: VICTORIAN WEEKEND

Note: All openings subject to volunteer availability.

Charges

Normal admission is FREE of CHARGE,

- although donations are most welcome.


Group & School Party Visits

Due to the small size of the building, groups and school parties are welcome outside normal opening hours throughout the year by prior arrangement. Charges on application.
